A NEW postbox is set to be installed in a rural Redditch village within the next four weeks following letters from concerned residents.
The Redditch Advertiser reported in May that Bradley Green Post Office, based at the Honeypot Shop, Church Road, was set to close after Julie Lumley resigned as subpostmistress.
A Royal Mail spokesman said the village postbox was on Mrs Lumley's property and she had asked for it to be removed so building work could be carried out, but it was always intended another would be installed.
