PEOPLE will be able to learn the skills of swimming teaching and lifeguarding during courses at Kingsley Sports Centre.
There will be the chance to learn the basic technical knowledge and fundamentals of swimming teaching, including use of voice, basic positioning on poolside and demonstration skills.
A second course aims to equip candidates with the principles of skill analysis, health and safety, motivation, swimming aids and more technical knowledge.
The third course is a recognised industry benchmark qualification which permits those who complete it to work as a pool lifeguard in the UK.
