A MAN with more than 250 offences on his record was caught stealing just eight days after he was put on probation.
Serial offender Stuart Jones admitted taking diesel from A and P Transport, Sandy Lane, Stourport.
His record of offending was the longest to come before the Kidderminster court, said district judge Philip Browning.
Jones, 24, formerly of Stourport and now living in Wolverhampton, had 60 convictions for 260 offences and had served a series of prison sentences.
The judge deferred sentence until November 1 to see whether the probation order from July 22 would be effective.
He told Jones: "A lot of people are trying to help you.
"But if you want to go back to prison, offending while on bail is the way to do it."
