ATTRACTIONS at this year's Stourport Carnival will range from historic battles to 1970s pop - and both reflect the Royal theme of the Jubilee bash.
Medieval-style clashes and dances - which children will be able to take part in - will be played out on the riverside meadows during the September 7 event.
And one of the big acts on stage will be Mamma Mia, who play Abba hits from the 1970s - the era of the Queen's Silver Jubilee.
Meanwhile, organiser Pete Roberts, who is aiming to compile a list of former carnival queens, is only two short - 1926 and 1982. For further information, or to enter the street parade, contact Mr Roberts on 01299 826930.
