JAN Molby is convinced Kidderminster Harriers are still in with a good shout for a spot in the Nationwide League Division Three play-offs.

The Harriers boss accepts that finishing in the leading five is a tall order, but has certainly not ruled out the chance of occupying sixth or seventh play-off place.

"There's a potential top five capable of pulling away because they just look better. But there's another two places to play for and we have got to hang on in there. That's with the likes of Southend and Cheltenham, these sort of teams."

Kidderminster went into today's home clash with Macclesfield six points away from seventh place with a game in hand.

One campaigner Molby believes can play a major role in Harriers quest for a top seven finish is striker Ian Foster.

After a lengthy spell on the casualty list, Foster is starting to look much sharper and was his side's man-of-the-match in last Saturday's 3-1 home win over York City.

Molby said: "He came back after a long injury lay-off and I chucked him straight in against Chesterfield playing up front.

"That was the only spell he'd had up front since he came back. The other games he'd been playing wide on the left.

"But he is a front man there's no doubt about that and I thought with his pace and movement last Saturday he caused York an awful lot of problems. He's on his way back to his best. He's looking very sharp and when he plays like that he's obviously a very good player."
