KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have confirmed the signing of Cambridge United midfielder Neil Mackenzie for the rest of the season.
Mackenzie has appealed against Cambridge's decision to terminate his contract for "persistent misconduct."
Unless his drops the appeal or it is dealt with quickly he will be unable to play in Saturday's home Nationwide League Division Three match against York City.
A deal to bring French utility player Pafauit Medou-Otye to Aggborough has stalled due to the financial package involved.
He has been on trial with Kidderminster recently along with goalkeeper Matthew Boswell who has now joined Dr Marten League Western Division high-flyers Bilston.
Boss Jan Molby confirmed that there was no foundation in speculation that he was about to sign Coventry City midfielder Daire Doyle who played a couple of games for Harriers reserves earlier this season.
Kidderminster, whose Division Three match with Plymouth last night was called off because of the waterlogged Home Park pitch, have arranged to entertain Carlisle United in the first round of the LVD Vans Trophy on Tuesday, December 5.
