KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are in line for a £500,000 cash windfall if Lee Hughes makes a summer move from First Division Coventry City.
The former Aggborough hitman has been linked with a return to Premiership newcomers West Bromwich Albion and also Birmingham City as the debt-ridden Sky Blues sell off their prized assets.
Two instalments total-ling around £460,000 are due to be paid to Harriers in August 2002 and 2003 but if 26-year-old Hughes makes a switch then the process could be speeded up.
"All the money we are owed becomes payable if he goes back to Albion or moves elsewhere," said Harriers' chairman Colin Youngjohns.
Harriers sold Hughes for £350,000 in 1997.
