WE do hope the park-and-ride scheme in Kiddermin-ster gets a few more users before it goes out of business.
We use it whenever we can and have found it to be an excellent service - we've never had to wait very long at either end.
All-day parking for £1 is very good value and the drivers are always friendly and helpful.
Mrs J Ford (Letters, July 25) says it is out of the question to use it from Franche but we can't believe going round a few more roundabouts from the Franche end of town is any great inconvenience - better that than the frustration of looking in vain for a space.
Also the pick-up point from the town hall is nearer than most car parks. The moaners should give the scheme a try before dismissing it as unworkable.
