I READ with interest the praise to all concerned for fighting the Incinerator in Kidderminster by H Clarke (Shuttle/Times and News Letters, August 1). I wonder what the residents of Neville Avenue now think of the Health Concern councillors' proposals for making the British Sugar site a large car park for park-and-ride use?
I voted at County Hall to oppose the siting of the incinerator on Stourport Road because of the lack of infastructure and its current traffic congestion.
For the same reasons I will oppose a park-and-ride scheme which Health Concern are pushing for.
