KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have agreed to extend their shirt sponsorship deal with local computer firm OGL for a further two years.

The deal, which began in 1997-98, was due to expire at the end of this season but Harriers chairman Lionel Newton has agreed a record six-figure deal with OGL managing director Paul Byrne.

Newton said: "We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with OGL for the past five seasons and we look forward to continuing that for at least another two years.

"As well as the financial support they have given us, OGL have played an important part in building on our foundations behind the scenes at the club."

Meanwhile, plans for a new 2,400 all-seater stand at Aggborough are progressing at a rapid rate.

The Football Foundation will meet next month to discuss the proposals and the club are hopeful they will be rubber-stamped soon after so work can begin on the new structure, opposite the main stand, in the summer.

Harriers have no game tomorrow.
