A BRICK manufacturer has been given the green light to extract more clay from a quarry despite residents' objections.
Hartlebury firm Baggeridge Brick will be allowed to work at Hartlebury Quarry, New Home Farm, for two months each year for the next 28 years. The excavated area will then be made into a lake.
Residents complained about extra dust and noise. However, Worcestershire County Council planners have approved the scheme.
A Baggeridge Brick spokesman warned up to 100 jobs could be affected if the application was rejected.
