THE summer film season at the Forum continues on Wednesday with The Officer's Ward (La Chambre des Officiers) (15).
Directed by Francois Dupeyron, it was nominated for the Golden Palm at Cannes and for eight Cesar awards.
It tells the story of handsome lieutenant Adrien, who is horribly disfigured in World War One and spends the next five years in a Parisian ward confronting his fate.
The next day, it is Sex and Lucia (18), a lush and erotic emotional adventure from Spain. After Lucia loses her long-time lover, she moves from Madrid to a Mediterranean island, where she unravels the mysteries and intimacies of her past relationship. Both films start at 8.15pm.
In Malvern Cinema, Men In Black II (PG) is on at 3pm and 7.15pm until Thursday.
