VC Sevale riders Jon Stedman and Graham Wadsworth came within three seconds of the course record in the Chances Lane Two-Up 10 mile time trial last Thursday.
The pair were well clear of second-placed Brian Boswell and Dave Walker.
Results: 1 Graham Wadsworth/Jon Stedman 22.48; 2 Brian Boswell/Dave Walker 24-05, 3 S Potter (solo) 26.06; 4 Tony Knight/Jim Sharrock 26.07. Mike Peakman (solo) 27.15.
The next VC Sevale time trial event is the Welland 15 starting at 7pm on Thursday (August 15).
