THE Vikings arrived at a Worcestershire museum at the weekend to show visitors why they were feared when they invaded Britain.
The Birmingham Vikings took part in a special weekend at the Avoncroft Museum, near Bromsgrove.
There were demonstrations on how they used to live and displays of other aspects of Viking life.
They also had a myriad of crafts and demonstrations of their trades from more than 1,000 years ago.
The event took place on Saturday and Sunday and also featured brickmaking and nailmaking demonstrations at the museum of historic buildings.
Visitors were also invited to look into the new active learning centre where there was hands-on fun for all ages.
