PETER Nielsen is right to point out that New Labour is now a pro-big business, undemocratic party.
This process has been going on for years and there is no way back. Several trade unions have recognised that affiliation fees paid to New Labour are simply used to attack their own members.
The lesson is surely that socialists, trade unionists, anti-capitalists and others need to come together to create an alternative to New Labour.
The Socialist Party, which has recently established a branch in Worcester, will gladly work with others to help establish a new mass party of working people to fight all the pro-establishment, big-business parties.
