AN impressive £1,150 was raised for charity when a town supermarket held a fun day.
Staff at Asda pulled out all the stops for the event, which was held on Saturday at the Recreation Ground in aid of the Acorns Hospice in Worcester.
The attractions included shire horse rides, a bouncy castle, face painting, karaoke and a tombola. There was even a US-style police car. "It was brilliant," said the store's Di Ashworth. "There was loads to do for all the family and the whole event went really well."
