THE Environment Agency has helped to solve a mystery case of diesel pollution in a tributary of the Red Brook in Tibberton, near Droitwich.
The pollution, which had been an intermittent problem for some time, was finally traced to a heating oil tank at the local school.
The investigation included a survey of the local drainage system by close circuit cameras as well as ground excavation in two key areas in the school grounds.
