THERE was added excitement at a monthly antiques fair when crews and celebrities from the BBC swept in to film a TV show.
Tommy Walsh, from Ground Force, Linda Barker, from Changing Rooms, and Dermot Murnaghan, from the BBC's breakfast news, were all at the DMG Antiques and Collectors Fair, at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, yesterday.
They were there to film a special celebrity episode of the BBC's popular Bargain Hunt programme, hosted by David Dickinson, and screened on Thursday nights on BBC1.
During the show, to be screened at a date yet to be fixed, the celebrities have to find three items of interest and value among the thousands of objets d'art at the fair, with a budget of £500 each.
Two of the items were auctioned off at the fair and one has been saved, to be auctioned off during Children in Need, screened live on BBC1 on Friday, November 15.
