ADVENTUROUS fund-raisers took to the roof of a Worcester warehouse abseiling 80ft in aid of a cancer charity.
More than 49 people braved yesterday's bad weather to take on the dramatic drop over the Reality Group building.
Organisers hope it will have generated around £7,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief with the money helping to fund a specialist nurse to support men in Worcestershire with prostate cancer.
"The event went really well, with some teams raising about £800 or £900," said Jon Rayner, Macmillan Cancer Relief fund-raiser.
"We expect to have made a good few thousand when the final total is counted in November."
Teams who signed up to the event included Arriva Renault in Worcester, Kidderminster-based Titan Steel Wheels and The Cottage in the Wood Hotel in Malvern Wells.
