BONE cancer victim Daniel Jarrold braves a bath of freezing jelly to drum up £1,000 for a hospital unit.
Daniel, aged 15, spent 10 minutes in the lime-green mixture in The Arboretum pub, Worcester, after King's School head chef Clive Pitts offered to make the sticky mixture.
Daniel, a Christopher Whitehead High School pupil, was diagnosed with bone cancer in May.
Rowntrees gave the jelly for the event, which was planned by Daniel, and held in the pub's pool room.
Funds raised were for the young persons' unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, where Daniel, from Northfield Street, Arboretum, has been receiving chemotherapy.
The Arboretum supported Daniel's efforts with a quiz night on Friday and a tombola and raffle on Saturday's bath night.
