WORCESTERSHIRE students will be going head to head with students from across Herefordshire and Shropshire in a battle for a challenge cup.
The Three Counties Challenge Cup competition is being run by the Army next week.
The Light Infantry Regimental Recruiting Team, which has organised the two-day event, is being assisted by the 183 Army Youth Team.
There will be 11 teams, including representatives of Worcester Sixth Form College and Worcester College of Technology, competing for the title.
On Wednesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 17 they will battle it out at Nesscliff Training Camp in Shropshire.
Students will have to participate in a wide range of activities, including teambuilding tasks, paintballing, a 50ft climbing tower and the Army assault course.
The teams' 10 members will have to work together to overcome military problems that will enhance communication, leadership and teamwork.
The aim of the competition is to have fun and promote the recruiting campaign, supporting different careers in the Army.
