WORCESTER City's FA Cup exit at the hands of Hucknall Town at the could prove doubly costly for the club.
The 1-0 defeat left them £10,000 poorer and also with further injury worries.
Pat Lyons was stretchered off with a neck injury following a collision which held up play for five minutes, while John Snape has a worrying ankle injury.
Manager John Barton's ability to strengthen his team must also be in question with the cash-strapped St George's Lane club already working to tight budget constraints.
City's boss had mixed emotions after the defeat with praise for his team's display but anger at poor finishing.
"I'm disappointed with the finishing, in fact seething about the finishing," he said.
"We did everything but put the ball in the net and that is ultimately what cost us. We had some good chances to score but it was not going our way.
"The players responded well after Tuesday's poor display at Bath. But as critical as I was of them at Bath I can't level that type of criticism at them from Saturday's game. Their attitude and application was spot on but if you look at the availability of the players, it is catching up with us -- and has been for a while."
One bright note for City was the encouraging debuts of youngsters Dan Jones and Duncan Willetts who made second- half substitute appearances.
