A TEENAGER gave chase after a thief snatched his wallet and ran off.
The theft happened just after 2pm on Tuesday, October 1, in Callow Hill Lane near the Bramley Cottage pub.
A 17 year old was walking along the road and was putting his bus pass back into his wallet when a youth in front of him snatched the wallet and ran off.
The victim chased after the thief but lost sight of him by Yvonne Road.
The wallet, with £20 missing, was found the same day.
The thief is described as white, aged about 15-16, about 5ft 7ins tall and of thin build.
He had an oval/fat face with freckles, a small nose and mouth and had a mark to the right hand side of his forehead.
He had short, spikey brown hair and was wearing a red England jacket with the England flag on the left breast area and England written in white letters across the back. He wore a black V-neck T-shirt, blue jeans and Fila trainers.
