BROMSGROVE Hockey Club Ladies First XI maintained their undefeated record after an outstanding performance against Harborne earned them a 1-1 draw.
Bromsgrove had their work cut out in defence from the off as the visitors put them under pressure.
The back three of Justine Postones, June Taylor and Helen Moore absorbed the pressure well but could not prevent Harborne from taking the lead.
This did not phase Bromsgrove as they started to play their own game and took the match to their opponents.
Bromsgrove finally equalised with their best move of the game, resulting in Lyndsey Hyde firing the ball into the net leaving the goalkeeper stranded.
The hosts attacked for most of the second half but failed to find a winner.
Player of the match went to Claire Brookes.
