BARRIERS are likely to be erected at the entrance of the Townsend Way industrial park, in Malvern Link.
These will be used when the shops are shut to stop "boy racers" tearing round the car park.
Mark Grant, of Insignia Richard Ellis, which represent the owners of the site, confirmed the move would take place "sooner rather than later". However, planning permission is needed.
This follows an unsuccessful attempt to stop the car park being used as a race track by installing speed bumps. Neighbours have complained about the noise.
MP Sir Michael Spicer, who has been involved in trying to find a solution, said: "I'm grateful to the tenants of the estate for agreeing to these arrangements. It's shocking that they should be necessary and that the car racers should so far have got away with their appaling behaviour."
