The Severn Valley Railway loaned war-time memorabilia for September 30, when Upper Arley hosted a Leys Group meeting at the village hall.
The main speaker for the evening was Dr Mark Baldwin, of Cleobury, who told members the story of The Enigma Machine.
Mary Wehner, ex-executive committee member for Performing Arts (Worcestershire) portrayed Lucy Hingley's story.
Members were provided with a ploughman's supper and took part in a traditional sing-a-long of songs from the wartime era.
The group's second birthday will be celebrated at the annual meeting on Monday which will be held in the sports and social club, Upper Arley.
