A salmon lunch was held in September, when more than £200 was raised for funds, replacing the money spent on tubs for Chaddesley Corbett village hall.
Following the meal, members walked around Janet Miller's gardens. A meeting was then held at Broadhouse Farm, when Ken Hughes gave a talk on The Beginnings of Sauce, Tea and Custard in Birmingham.
He told how the old Bird's Custard factory is now used for shops, restaurants and crafts, including a wig-maker.
The November 20 talk will feature V Hemingway on The Gunpowder Plot, at Chaddesley Corbett village hall from 2pm.
The competition, for the annual chance to win a special plate for a year, will be for a craft item.
