The autumn season began with a "History Walk" along five miles of footpaths and lanes in the parish, led by Mike Hanson. Historic features of note were pointed out along the route.
On October 1 photographs were on view at the Elisabeth Tangye Memorial Lecture evening, when Ned Williams gave a talk on Entertainment in North Worcestershire.
The annual lecture series, held in conjunction with the Workers Education Association began on October 8, and is open to non-members. The 10 weeks course meets every Tuesday evening at the village hall. The theme is Making a Living in North Worcestershire: Town and Country.
