BARNT Green Spartak continue to lead Midland Combination division two following their 3-1 victory at Chelmsley Town.
Spartak were never in danger of dropping points after being gifted a goal on eight minutes when home goalkeeper Lee Cozens let a back pass roll under his studs and into the net.
Reckey Carter beat Cozens with ease on 55 minutes for 2-0 and hit his second 15 minutes later.
Chelmsley scored a penalty in the final minute.
l Spartak have also been reunited with coach Frank Kreamer.
Kreamer quit Spartak during the close season for Pilkington XXX but has returned to Spartak and manager GJ Singh after resigning at the division one club.
He said: "I was wrong to leave Spartak in the first place and I've learnt that the grass isn't always greener on the other side."
Singh is hoping Kreamer can help him and former Bromsgrove Rovers hitman Reckey Carter continue the good start Spartak have made to the season.
Elsewhere, Spartak have three cup ties to look forward to.
They have been handed a home draw against Inkberrow in the second round of the Worcestershire Football Association County Cup. The tie is due to be played on Saturday, October 26.
Spartak travel to Northfield Town in the Smedley Crooke Cup Second Round on November 11 while they entertain Halfords in the last eight of the Challenge Vase. A date for that match is yet to be set.
