ALCESTER are hoping to put their first defeat of the season behind them with a trip to Tenbury in the Powergen Junior Vase on Saturday.
And after negotiating the first round of the competition for the first time in six years they are taking a coach load of supporters to the second round tie.
The Kings Coughton side went down 24-3 to league leaders Manor Park at the weekend, denting their title hopes.
With Trinity Guild and Dunlop, who each have a game in hand, maintaining their 100 per cent records Pat Lamb's side dropped to fourth in Powergen Warwickshire One.
But the Alcester skipper will be expecting his side to bounce back against lower league opposition in the Vase at the weekend (ko 3pm).
