WE are glad to report that we have a few new members, perhaps not surprising when we examine our list of engagements and speakers recently.
On July 17 we had Alan Craske talking about "La Jog on a Bike" - entertaining, amusing and well received. On July 30 we had another outing to the herb garden in Worcester. On September 3 Joy Pinder told us a story about her "Lunch at the Palace". We have never laughed so much and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. On September 14 another coach load went on the upper Wye Valley outing, guided by Brian Draper - an excellent tutor and history of information. On September 20, the meeting was held at Avoncroft Museum, when we were excellently entertained by Meriel Acton, with her views of what goes on "Behind the Scenes at the Crown Court". Brilliantly told and enormously interesting. Membership of the RNLI in Bromsgrove is only £2 per annum and new members are very welcome. The meals provided by Bromsgrove School when our meeting are held there, are always excellent.
