A SUCCESSFUL workshop was conducted on September 11 at the Greig Centre when seven aspiring choristers were tempted along to swell the ranks and to sample the delights of male voice choral singing.
That success, however, does not mean that those ranks are now full and any male who missed the workshop and would like to flex his vocal chords may get more details from Judith Lane on 01527 401743 or simply come along to rehearsal at the Greig Centre on any Wednesday night, starting at 7.30pm.
On September 21, the choir performed to a large audience in Pershore Abbey, in aid of St Andrew's church funds.
The Abbey, which has been a centre for Christian worship for 1300 years with the oldest parts of the present structure dating back to Norman times, is acoustically a delightful place to sing and a favourite venue for the choir.
The choir's next concert will be in Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-on-Avon, on Saturday at 7.30pm, with proceeds to the Shakespeare Hospice.
