GARDENING CLUB: At the Autumn Mini Show held at the village hall, numbers were slightly down on previous years. Nonetheless, an interesting and entertaining evening was enjoyed by those who did attend. The judge was a regular visitor to the club, Andy Pedrick who, after judging the competition answered members' gardening questions and gave valuable tips to remember for future shows. The overall winner was Jean Dyke who was presented with the Norman Taylor Rose bowl. The next meeting is the AGM on Wednesday, October 23.
