HOCKEY: A tough start to DTZ League Midlands One continued for Kidderminster who were thumped 7-0 at Solihull Blossomfield.
The town were totally outplayed by extremely strong opposition and are still searching for their first league goal of the season.

The seconds were also outplayed in the West Midlands Premier Division as the one-way traffic was only halted by a goal for Kidderminster's Piers Whitehouse.

Ten-man Kidderminster faced experienced opposition in West Midlands Division One but took the lead through Keith Burgess.
However, the home side soon equalised and led 2-1 at half-time before killing of the game with a quick third.
Three more goals followed and although Burgess added a second with the last hit of the game, the result was a poor one.
Kidderminster's youngsters Tom Eales, Craig Bourne, Scott Edwards and Joe Sorrell never gave up.

The fourths narrowly lost a tight West Midlands Division One fixture.
