ROWING: Stourport Boat Club's juniors returned with medals galore from Evesham's head of the river race.
Their 21 crews came away with five wins, six second places and three thirds, including a fastest time of the day and two new course records.
The new 16 quad sculls of Dan Brighton, Alex Gavin, Rupert Conway and Ashley Price were the fastest crew on the day in seven minutes 01 seconds on the 1,900-metre course.
Conway and Price also won the 16 double sculls in 7-22, while Brighton sculled the 14 division of single sculls in a record 8-35.
Brighton also doubled with Jessica Danby in the junior 14 double sculls for another course record of 8-14.
The mixed 12 coxed quad scull of Emma Perkins, Josh Barrington, Chris Haywood and Matt Brighton, coxed by Sam Maher, took the fifth gold in 9-45.
M Brighton was the fastest runner-up in the 12 single sculls in 10-25.
Another second place went to the 13 girls' coxed quad of Katie Haywood, Nicola Price, Perkins and Harriet Conway, coxed by Maher, in 9-37.
Silver also fell for the 14 girls' coxed quad of J Corbett, S Gwilliam, B Saunders and L Ray, coxed by B Perkins, in 9-12.
The Morris family trio, joined by H Brighton and Maher, raced in a 13 coxed quad scull for the first time and posted a respectable 12-38.
The results left organisers and coaches Pete Lloyd and Fred Caswill proud.
