ATHLETICS: The girls' U-17s starred for Kidderminster and Stourport in the West Midland Young Athletes Cross Country League in Birmingham.
Fay Kitchen was individual winner in 11 minutes 28 seconds and her team also took gold.
Third-placed Liz Dourneen ran 11-48 and Heidi Jarosinski was 41st. Matt Grainger finished 21st in the boys' U-17s category.

Tom Kenderdine knocked four minutes and 40 seconds off his personal best when he finished 45th in the Great North Half Marathon in one hour 12-06.
Neil Kerr completed the course in 1-41-0.
