ATHLETICS: Five athletes from Amazing Feet raced on Saturday and Sunday to claim points in their club race league with Eddie Sanders securing his third gold medal of the year.
Sanders won the Worcestershire County Multi-terrain Championships over-50s title in 48 minutes 27 seconds, following half-marathon and 10km successes.
Brian Humphries led the club home in the Worcestershire Beacon Race in 48-40 on a six-mile course over the Malvern Hills.
Other times: John Amos 50-56, Richard Baker one hour 06-10, Lindsay Pulley 1-13-30.
Humphries was also Amazing Feet's first finisher in the Bells of Pattingham multi-terrain race 24 hours later, completing the 7.2-mile event in 46-18.
Other times: Amos 48-09, Sanders 48-27, Rob Edwards 56-43, Debbie Sault 58-15, Baker 58-24, Martin Childe 59-43, Pulley 1-04-42, Joanne Lauder 1-05-56, Irene Sanders 1-11-09.
Amos leads the inter-club race league by 17 points from Humphries with Pulley a further 25 points back in third.
Ruth Miles is assured of the ladies' title despite missing the last four league races.
She clocked 3-28-0 in the Manchester marathon, while Matt Smith ran 3-27 and Martin Proudler closed his 100th marathon in 4-43.
