BUSINESSES are being asked to chip in to light up Stourport this Christmas.
The town council and the business association are offering traders the chance to pay from £300 to buy Christmas lights and donate them to the town.
The council will then fit and maintain the lights and meet electricity costs.
Spaces are available in High Street, York Street, Lombard Street and New Street and the "grand switch on" will take place on November 22.
This year will also see a £2,000 Father Christmas donated by traders outside the Swan Hotel on the High Street.
Businesses can contact Pete Roberts before November 10 on 01299 826930.
