POLICE are hoping a bag found at the scene of a break-in in Bredon could lead them to capturing the intruder.
A black holdall with the word "Rebels" on it, was found in a gateway after a break-in at a house in Church Street, at about 3am on Wednesday, October 9. It is believed the offender dropped the bag as he ran off empty handed in the direction of Tewkesbury.
The bag, which was found to be empty, has maroon trim and a maroon handle. It also has 'Stephanie Moore' written on it in blue biro. Police believe it is possible that it could have been taken from another burglary.
Police have issued a description of the person they wish to trace in connection with the break-in. He is white, aged between 16 to 18, with shortish dark hair and of slim to medium build.
He is believed to be between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 9ins tall, and was wearing a jogging top with a hood and dark coloured trousers or jeans.
West Mercia Constabulary spokeswoman Kim Stain said: "We would like to hear from anyone who knows about the bag and who knows, or is Stephanie Moore."
