EXETER have ruled Jan Molby out of the running for the vacant managerial position at the club.
The former Swansea, Kidderminster and Hull boss was interviewed about the post but he will not be replacing John Cornforth.
City vice-chairman Mike Lewis said: "Jan Molby will not be the next manager of Exeter City. He did an excellent interview and it's fair to say that he was in the top three.
"But Jan has now been taken off the list, which is nothing to do with his ability or his references."
Former Scotland midfielder Neil McNab, the former Portsmouth and Manchester City coach, was appointed today.
Meanwhile, new Stouport Swifts manager Dave Titterton has boosted his attacking options with the capture of 29-year-old prolific striker Michael Moore from Stratford Town.
Titterton has also strengthened his midfield with the signing of Leon Blake from Hinckley United and John Malpasse, a former Aston Villa trainee. Ex-Hereford full-back John Cotterill has also joined from Bridgnorth.
