EXHIBITION: An exhibition of excellence was held recently at True Blue Farm, the home of John and Ruth Hall. Some 43 individual exhibits representing the skill and artistry of both John and Ruth were on display. There was furniture restored from various stages of dilapidation, upholstered and covered either with fabric or personally worked canvas seats, including one rescued from a skip. Mr and Mrs Hall were supported in the organisation by their daughters and granddaughters. This family effort raised on the first day £740 for the West Worcestershire Conservative Association and on the second day £300 for the Friends of St Giles Church.
VILLAGE HALL: Recently raised money has been put to good use in the redecoration of the Jubilee Room. A new lighting system has been installed.
VILLAGE HALL: A plea has gone out from the chairman of the village hall committee that a representative from each organisation which uses the hall should send a representative to the AGM on Wednesday, November 20 at 7pm in the Jubilee Room.
