Sutton dashed any hope that the opposition may have had when he also crossed the line.

THE squad has made an outstanding start to the new season.
Tries came from Alex Stoddart, Joe Taylor and captain Wil Taylor with a notable hat-trick from Jack Hughes and a brace for Michael Harris.
Teammates Joe Bierns, Adam Johnson, Ellis Jones, Connor McCaughan, Michael McNamara and Louie Sutton all demonstrated impressive ball handling skills on a day when sound teamwork and an awareness of the game led Evesham to a convincing victory.

Evesham U-10s 0
THE Under-10s staged a brave and sustained performance against older opponents.
The squad, which included Paul Merchant, George Goddard, George Swainson, Peter Johnson, Daniel Smith, Charlie Hartwell and Anthony Watts, produced some excellent tackling and defended right until the final whistle.
Evesham U-13 15, Bournville 15
EVESHAM'S three tries came from Damien Scarpellini and two from Daniel Ring, while full back Michael Diston was named player of the match.
Tom Walker also had an excellent game in the back row.
This Sunday, the Under-16s visit Dudley Kingswinford, meet rugby club at 9am.
