A DRIVER was "lucky" to escape with chest injuries after his car hit a lorry early on Wednesday morning.
The Volvo collided with the truck on the A443 in Abberley at 1am and the man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Worcester, by ambulance.
Firefighters had to take a car door off to rescue a young driver who had crashed into a wall.
The accident happened on the B4195 near Blackstone Rock between Bewdley and Stourport at 9.25am on Tuesday.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a woman in her 20s, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital suffering from minor injuries.
