HUNDREDS of jobseekers turned out to make the Shuttle/Times & News Jobs and Careers Fair a roaring success.
Those looking for a new career, thinking of a change or just starting out after completing their exams made a beeline for Kidderminster Town Hall to take a look at what was on offer.
The event, sponsored by Kidderminster College, brought together a host of employers to provide information and advice plus the latest news on job vacancies.
It provided an opportunity for visitors to talk about a wide range of career options - from joining the armed services or police to becoming an engineer or going to college to learn new skills.
Event organiser Tracey Read: "We had nearly 600 visitors to the fair on the day which was up on last year's figure.
"Standholders were delighted with the response and the organisation of the event and many have already re-booked for next year.
"This proven formula brings together committed applicants with interested employers and is a highly pro-active method of recruiting ."
Stand holders were Kidderminster College, the JobCentre, the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force, West Mercia Police, Hydro Automotive Structures (UK), St Cloud Care plc, Wyre Forest Community Housing, Back Up Staff, the National Probation Service and Muller (England) Ltd.
