SUPPORT services group Amey was dealt a fresh blow today after it emerged its newly appointed finance director was quitting.
Michael Kayser, leaving after less than two months in the role and will be replaced by a partner seconded from accountants Deloitte & Touche.
Amey chairman Sir Ian Robinson said: "We are both surprised and disappointed that Michael has chosen to leave Amey so soon after joining us and that, despite the full and unconditional support of the board, he has decided to look for opportunities elsewhere."
