AN award-winning comedy film will be showing next week in Bosbury as part of its nationwide tour. Tim FitzHigham and James Campbell star in Infinite Number of Monkeys do Gravity. The Sony Silver Award winning script links apples, alchemy and arson to Isaac Newton and tells how the Great Fire of London truly began dot.com frenzy. Once more we are very fortunate to have such entertainment in the parish hall. The film will be showing on Friday, October 25, at 7.30pm. Do bring family and friends for an entertaining evening. Members of the church choir are starting to learn new music for Advent and the Christmas season. Choir mistress Esther Kay is hoping to attract some talented pupils from Bosbury School but all voices from any parish are most welcome, from age seven to 70 plus. Young choristers are encouraged to take part in the Royal School of Church Music training scheme. Choir practice is on Saturday at 9.30am. Members of the Bosbury Golden Jubilee Playground Initiative are holding a fundraising family disco and barbecue at the parish hall on Saturday, October 26 at 7pm. Admission adults £3.50, children £1.50.
