FRAMED pictures, cushions, lamps, felt wall hangings and bags made by textile artists who learned their craft at Malvern Hills College are on display this month.
The Malvern Makers, eight ex-students of the City and Guilds creative design and embroidery course at the college, are staging their third annual selling event in The Barry Jackson Room in Grange Road until Saturday, October 26.
Since leaving the college some members have returned there to teach, others embarked on further textile and ceramic courses elsewhere and two set-up their own textile art businesses locally.
"Our individual styles of work were always very different and as they continue to evolve each exhibition proves to be more interesting and inspiring than the last," said spokesman Sarah Walker.
The exhibition is open Monday to Saturday from 10am until 4.30pm each day.
