A CELEBRATION of all things apple related will take place at a Farmers' Market in Longdon on Sunday (October 20).
Apple bobbing, toffee apples, apple pies, apple juice, cider and a wide variety of locally-grown apples will all be on offer.
Every child will also receive a free apple.
The event, which will take place at the Hunters' Inn, is being organised by Worcestershire Farmers' Market Group as part of celebrations to mark Apple Day, which is being held nationally on Monday (October 21).
"Our Farmers' Markets always have a great atmosphere and the Hunters' Inn is a particular favourite with shoppers," said Worcestershire Farmer's Market co-ordinator Janet Yates. "However, I think this Sunday's event is going to be that bit extra special - something of a step back in time.
"As well as apple bobbing, we have Richard Toft coming from Pershore College to give a talk on apple tree cultivation, which will be a must for keen gardeners. We will also have apple recipe books on sale.
Also on sale will be home-cured bacon, gourmet sausages, local cheeses, cakes, breads, pastries, wines, preserves and free range eggs.
The event takes place from 11am to 1pm.
