Salford Rvrs U-14 2, Evesham Utd 4
SHAUN Read's speculative strike gave Rovers the interval lead in Sunday's Mercian League Cup contest.
Solid Salford defence had earlier repelled United's attacking thrusts and their efforts were repaid when Josh Cocker doubled the home side's lead.
Complacency set in and Ben Carter reduced the arrears. Steve Peat then converted from the penalty spot for 2-2 before Sam Knowles gave United the lead.
An awkward bounce then deceived Richard Print in the Salford goal and Bob Derbyshire was left celebrating a fourth goal and an amazing fightback.
