Evesham Utd Robins U-11 2, Bromyard Tn 1
ROBINS progressed to the next round of the cup after defeating a lively Town side in a gripping contest.
Town started brightly and put Robins under pressure right from the start, but Robins defended well and countered effectively.
Lewis Ridley was unlucky to see a header and a volley go narrowly wide before Jack Wood beat his defender to slot the ball into the far corner. Town responded quickly and drew level with a long- range effort.
Robins missed the opportunity to increase their lead when the keeper saved Jamie Wallace's penalty and then smother the loose ball.
The game remained even until player of the match, James Martin, won the ball in midfield and found Rhys Eddy who headed in.
